Yin Yang Yoga Flow & Seasonal Mad March Hare Brunch

Every month Amanda Farnese Heath one of the barefoot Practitioners will be hosting a two hour Yoga session. Afterwards a delicious Mad March Hare vegetarian Brunch will be served in The Barefoot Sanctuary, and if it happens to be sunny you can take it to the beach.
All of the workshops and brunches will be curated to align with the time of year and the moon cycle.
Starting with a wonderfully nourishing, releasing and restoring Yin Yoga practice. Mindful long held floor based stretches (3-5 mins), moving all six ways of the spine, targeting the deep connective tissue, ligaments and fascia of the body, increasing our flexibility, re-balancing our energy, whilst allowing the mind and nervous system to settle down deeply into a calming meditative state.
We will work through a dynamic and strengthening set of postures flowing from one Asana to the next. Getting the body and energy moving, as we begin to wring out all of our stresses, both physically and mentally. Moving with music, keeping a calm inner strength while we move with grace.
All resulting in a delicious release and ‘letting go’ of those tight held areas of tension we all carry and store.
After Savasana you will be served a light vegetarian brunch Mad March Hare Style at The Barefoot Sanctuary Long Table seating, and if the sun shines we will head to the beach.
‘On Friday I met Amanda for the first time at an amazing charity/yoga event and, though I have done several different types of yoga classes (over many years!) never have I experienced ☯️ Yin Yang Flow. I was so keen to try it again I went along this morning to Amanda’s monthly 3 hour workshop, which, not only makes you feel fully recharged for the week ahead, this fascinating lady will feed you a sumptuous vegetarian brunch to last you the rest of the day as well. Literal nutrition for the mind, body and soul. Where else do you arrive at a class and the first exercise is lying on your ready-made yoga mat (festooned in cushions and blankets) listening to amazing music (including my fave “teardrop” by massive attack) making yourself in to a banana shape! Sounds simple but, listening in and focusing on your body, mind and breathing means that two hours later you have spent, no, invested, blissful and well- deserved time focussed on you and only you. We focussed individually on every single part of our body, which, sitting at a computer 35 hours a week you completely forget to do! Can’t wait my visit to Barefoot Sanctuary same time next month! ‘Went along to a yoga and brunch session today, which was amazing. Yin poses, followed by a dynamic flow, topped off with some peak yin poses.
After a lovely savasana we were treated to a food extravaganza. Delicious dhal, sourdough bread, red pepper humous, guacamole, granola, lush cake made without flour, coffee, smoothies and more. I will be back Amanda!! Thanks xx’
The cost is £35 per person.
There will be 14 places only at each workshop making sure there is enough space for everyone to move fully.
Please Note that when you book the place you reserve in non transferable.
If you can’t make it along, I will keep a list of anybody waiting, and wherever possible will re-book your place and fully refund the cost to you.
